Visiting

Dairy Campus is an inspiring environment for anyone interested or involved in the dairy supply chain. Or for anyone simply wanting to have a look round a modern ‘smart’ farm. There’s more going on here than you’d think! You’re more than welcome to visit us to find out for yourself. We guarantee that you’ll leave here brimming with new knowledge and insights.

Guided tour

Our guided tours last around two hours. You’re greeted with coffee or tea, followed by a presentation about what we do at Dairy Campus, why we do it and how, and we tell you about some of our current and most unusual projects. After the presentation you’re taken on a guided tour of the farm, taking in the various research units and innovations. From our skybox you’ll get to see the cows chewing their way through various menus and the rotary milking parlour with spaces for 40 cows.

Extended programme

Why not combine a meeting with a guided tour or a visit focusing on a specific aspect of dairy farming? We can even invite colleagues of Wageningen University & Research or other partners to come and give presentations on a subject of interest to your group. Meetings of this kind can be very effectively combined with workshops. We also offer tailor-made visits for any target group, such as company staff, schools, associations and clubs.

Full day programme

Via our extensive network, we can also arrange off-site visits. For example, we can put together a full day programme for you incorporating visits to animal housing builders, milk processors, feed factories or other companies with links to the dairy farming sector.
Simply tell us what you want and we’ll do our best to meet your needs.

Meeting or event

Dairy Campus is an attractive venue for meetings, workshops and other events. Facilities such as audio-visual equipment, flip charts, microphones and WiFi are available. We can also arrange catering on request. There is free on-site parking.

A warm welcome

With our large grounds and spacious facilities, we can organise events within the current coronavirus rules. Many of our activities take place in the open air or under cover outdoors. Our indoor areas are spacious enough to allow plenty of distance between people. Windows, doors and even the ridge of the roof in the main building can be opened for good ventilation. We are also equipped for hybrid event formats, enabling a larger audience to attend virtually.
